You may not realize this, but I won critical acclaim for my portrayal of Yente in the Everly High School production of "Fiddler on the Roof" in 1978... knocked 'em dead, I did. The Everly-Royal News raved, "The role of Yente, the Matchmaker was played by Sue Koehnk". And the Spencer Daily Reporter gushed, "The role of Yente, the Matchmaker was played by Sue Koehnk". Yes, it took years for my head to deflate back to a semi-normal size & shape... |
